STASH  &  FOOD  WASTE  infographic

2025

You don't have to convince yourself that day 4 of your meal prep tastes as good as the half you ate immediately after you made it. In our era of struggling to commit, Stash makes consistently tracking your food waste to save money and enjoy eating affordable, easy and educational.

There's probably a simple reason why your DoorDash order is missing food, but unfortunately there's no clear cut reason for why global food waste production is increasing. Users can better understand data when it hits closer to home. This infographic explores the relationship between household income, food waste production and how much is left inedible.

Accessibility Considerations

The e-ink device, much like a Kindle that stays awake, minimizes time required to input waste metrics and access information while maintaining affordability to reach a broad audience. For information design, it becomes visually approachable by emulating subject matter through design and simplifying data visually.
